A total of eight officers were shot on Galway Drive on Monday while officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant. A shooting suspect was killed at the scene, and police are questioning two other people. Incredibly, that wasn't the only shooting in Durham on Tuesday night. Hours later, a 51-year-old man was shot and killed across the street from Club Boulevard Elementary School. The boy was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Durham police said he is the 11th young person shot in the Bull City since January.
